Catalog

Over 100 photos from private and public collections will be on view. Divided into four sections, from the destruction of the mimicry of nature, to the innovative research of the Twenties and Thirties, the exhibition “Futurist Photography” includes the formalized photodynamism of the Bragaglia’ brothers, many portraits of Depero, photomontages by Tato, and even photo-performance. In tune with the best European avant-garde revolutions, this show explores liberal and eccentric tastes, the hyperbole of grand visions and ideas well outside of the canons of bourgeois society.
