The Estorick Collection will be celebrating the centenary of the futurist manifesto with the first ever British exhibition devoted to the dynamic art of Umberto Boccioni, the leading light of the Futurist movement before his untimely death in 1916.
Working with animated film and video, installation, sculpture, drawing and artists’ books, Luca Buvoli is an Italianborn artist now based in the USA. His themes of engagement with Futurism link him closely to the Estorick’s permanent collection and the hundredth anniversary of the Futurist manifesto.
