Christine Poggi’s Book ‘Inventing Futurism’ Wins Prize

Congratulations to Christine Poggi, winner of the 21st Howard R. Marraro Prize, an MLA publication prize for an outstanding book in the field of Italian literature or comparative literature involving Italian. Poggi, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania, was recognized for her work  Inventing Futurism: The Art and Politics of Artificial Optimism (Princeton Univ. Press, 2009).
